During LACRIMOSA's "Lichtgestalt-Tour"
back in 2005, Tilo Wolff met Carlos Toro, a Chilean video
director, with whom he stayed in contact starting a collaboration.
Now, when LACRIMOSA played again in Santiago de Chile this
summer, Tilo and Carlos met again and finally the result
of their transatlantic collaboration is concluded!.
The result is a different kind of videoclip
for the song "Feuer" from the new album "Sehnsucht".
And since this clip is done due to internet, LACRIMOSA are
going to present this clip on the internet, here on their
official site very shortly for free!

VISION OF LIFE
In
less than a month will be released the tenth Lacrimosa studio
album, after a long time meditating and seeing what Lacrimosa
did fifteen years ago, when finally in December of 2007,
it is concreted in Tilo's mind the inspiration to begin
this new path.
The new album is created song after song,
waiting for the end in order to give a title, at the beginning
it was going to be "Koma" since this is one of
the most important themes of the album. However, "Koma"
is only a yearning from Tilo, which had not seen until the
end, then the word that best describes all the emotions
and feelings of this album is "Sehnsucht", unlike
other albums, this will not have introductions so deep or
long, it can be said this is a little shorter.
When this album was created, Tilo already
had the melody in mind, he woke up with this idea, for example,
with the song: "Call Me With the Voice of Your Love"
and had in mind the rhythm of the song and it was only concerned
sitting in front of the piano to order all those ideas and
write the lyrics.
This album surprises a little since it
has more songs in English and this has its reason to be,
Tilo realizes that his fans appreciate more songs in German,
but sometimes it cannot be expressed in such form or manner,
and in English it sounds better, although there had been
some Lacrimosa's albums which contain songs in English,
Finish and Latin. The meaning of the songs is the same,
the issue is coming to the feelings of the audience who
is the one that gives meaning to the end, many can think
that Anne has a lot to do with this but the reality is that
Tilo has proposed to her to have more participation in the
songs, and sometimes it has been in that way. In this album,
Tilo and Anne came together in order to compose "A
Prayer For Your Heart", this song is like a diamond
that was polished for them.
As
we know, there will be two editions of "Sehnsucht",
although for many this can be risky since people have been
complaining about it has 10 songs instead of 8, Tilo does
not considers that this is risky but bizarre because it
captivates his audience, and the idea of this work is the
fire radiates with more glory. The same applies to the special
edition, where Tilo includes different versions of the songs,
he wanted to include something else… and this is how
the color becomes important, the fact of playing with the
nuances. What Tilo aims is that people could feel that feeling
of satisfaction by seeing the cover arts.
The cover art of this material symbolizes
the search, the desire; the Harlequin just wanted a small
fire to make a path to the illumination and of that fire
came nostalgia, which is represented by the horse, in that
status also symbolizes the strength and desire and the driver
is the personification of longing.
In this occasion there will not be a single…
even when as usual there is an exception to the rule and
in this occasion it will be Russia. For them, it will be
released a single that is the song "I Lost My Star
In Krasnodar", because the Mayor of Russia loves that
people talk about his country; so we decided to give to
our fans this gift. Lacrimosa has a fanaticism very great
in Russia, is something like in Latin America, where is
concentrated most of their fans, this is due to the culture
of the countries. Tilo thinks that this is due to the emotions
and feelings, to the culture of the place. There are places
where people do not show their emotions either, do not be
opened to it, for example, as we know Anne is Finish and
in that country there is not as much fans for Lacrimosa
as in other countries, for that matter.
Another important issue is that tour that
Lacrimosa will do a midyear, will start in July in Sao Paulo
Brazil, then to Japan, China, Mongolia and Russia.

Wonderful
news for the Russians: Tilo has completely approved the
design and finishing of the single "I Lost My Star".
Unlike the album, this will include a fragment in Russian,
and a new guitarist Solyakov. The single will include 4
audio tracks and a multimedia section.

first time in many years, Lacrimosa decided to release in
