This is the first Lacrimosa's album
that could be classified as Metal, with songs in German
and English. The cover art shows the harlequin in a
Theatre without public, a little depressed.
The songs "Stolzes Herz"
and "Die Strasse der Zeit" stand out in this
album. They are narrating a history of war, stupidity
and greed. In which the protagonist arrives to the Antique
Greece finding in this culture a great consolation.
In this album the presence and colaboration
of Anne Nurmi is emphasized, taking more importance
since in this album she renders two songs: "Not
Every Pain Hurts" and "Make it End".
