• Harlequin

Lacrimosa's Harlequin… Symbol that
has accompanied the band since its beginnings is inspired
in Charles Chaplin, one of the cultural heroes of Tilo.
Originally, Tilo had drawn a sketch with
the universal symbol of Theatre… one face laughing
and another crying, in his opinion, this defined Lacrimosa's
music, a mixed of sadness and happiness. However, the final
version of Lacrimosa's logo was created by the artist Stelio
Diamantopoulos, who is the same artist in charge of drawing
all Lacrimosa's albums cover arts.
The Harlequin is a kind of mimic without
any expression, which is something like the symbiosis between
happiness and sadness, so that the Harlequin is the perfect
symbol to represent Lacrimosa's music.
